Like what common foods are the absolute worst and shouldn't be eaten? Like prepackaged food, how bad is that stuff?

Examples of prepackaged food would be:

  • Frozen Vegetables
  • Meat shipped in from outside the local areas
  • Canned vegetables
  • Cereal
  • Bread from outside the area

What foods are safe/good to eat?

None of that stuff is unsafe.

When I think of prepackage foods, I think of canned ravioli or boxed stuffing, things like that which are very high in salt. That isn't really good for you, but I don't think I'd go as far to say it is unsafe.

What would you recommend all us of to eat then? What foods are better than the canned stuff and other examples I listed?

It really depends on how much effort you want to put into it and how much willpower you have.

I believe in "farm to table", but it isn't always possible. Buying an animal from a respected farm or buying one from your county fair are great options. Get local produce when in season.

Eat oats for breakfast, add some nuts or peanut butter powder. Eat lots of vegetables, fresh or frozen.

There are plenty of ways to eat healthy. Paying attention to the labels is a good first step. It's surprising to me, but I've found that a lot people don't look at nutritional labels when making buying decisions.

I don't eat as healthy as I should, but I do make an effort.
