Go look at the top 100 songs in the USA for the past 10 years. Some songs simply repeat the D note over and over and over and over.

I'm really digging searx. You guys should switch too it. It's not a search engine for 2 reasons. It's a metasearch enginge, first. that being it anonymously pulls search results from a few of the most popular search engines all at once. I'm not sure how the results are ranked and weighted for display to the user, but that leads to the second reason why it's different. It's actually a metasearch engine framework, and is completely open source, and anyone can deploy an instance of it, either on their own local machine or network, or as a publicly accessible website. The domain I used from their official list of public instances, based on where it was hosted and what host they were using, was https://searx.ninja.

I'm using Brave so as soon as I made a search on that site I could go to the Search Engine options in Settings, then the Manage SearchEngines section and set a URL bad keyword so I can choose to use searx instead of my default search engine at any time simply by typing my denoted keyword (I chose ;s) followed by my search term(s).

I also used Brave Search for this, but it's in closed beta, and it didn't give the results I wanted with the 4 or so searches I used. But it's good to have options. I still use Bing for mainstream searches, but searx may be a drop-in replacement since it uses all of them, and if the site ever goes down I can host an instance on a local Apache service.
