My answer is that every symbol has, at this time, been co-opted and corrupted. If you want to use a symbol with the least alignment to negativity, try an actual flower, leaf, or some naturally growing plant. Beware of simplistic drawings of these items though, as they are often twisted.
I agree with the first part of your statement. But leaves and other natural shapes are "All" made up of geometric shapes (triangles, hexagons, etc.) and therefore would also be corrupted according to your logic.
I think maybe context and individual perception is more important in this case. Take the cross ✝️ for example. By itself it could be a cross or a lower case "t" depending on context and/or individual perception.
I like spirals and I like triangles. No one can force you/I to believe that is has anything to do what "they" believe. They also believe the path to the light of our Creator is through Lucifer ("light-bringer" in Latin). Does that make light bad?
