I think that this only happens for about 1 to 3 weeks after vaccination. I think it is not terribly dangerous for healthy people but newborns and frail people might want to keep a little distance or maybe wear and n-95 mask around the vaccinated person. The spike protein is “contagious” in the same way covid its— its leaving your body and becoming airborne. It may cause inflamation of the airways, cold like symptoms or rashes near or in your mouth as well as eye irritation. It is a very irritating protein which can “infect” cells in a sense, although it wont reproduce. I think the health agencies are well aware of the phenomenon and are covering it up by spreading news stories about new outbreaks of croup, asthma, allergies, pink eye and hand foot and mouth disease. They have done this in a seemingly coordinated way to provide plausible deniability of vaccine side effects. If you google some of these terms you will see a spate of articles trying to argue that these symptoms are related to people not wearing masks. But its horseshit. I think its fine for your grandma to visit these folks if its been a few weeks since their last jab.
