They use psychological manipulation and gaslighting tactics to shame someone into agreeing with them. Pretty much anything can be used to pathologise someone these days.

If you're an introvert? You lack social skills and that's abnormal

If you're an extrovert? You lack the ability to be quiet and that's abnormal

And so on.

Many fall for these manipulations which then can be used to coach someone into doing that sort of shit.
