Bomb the Three Gorges Dam. That would wipe out over 200M Chinese, over 30% of all military assets, a large % of their electric capacity, etc.

China built themselves an incredible weakness that any serious country can take out in case of an all out war. If ever the CCP destroy the dam themselves, imo they'd be getting ready for war.

[–] 2 pts

99.99% correct. What you wrote, but also, plaster the bombs with hebrew writing and stars of David. For additional shits and giggles, drop a few israeli passports in the area.

[–] 2 pts

I’d love to see that dam break in my lifetime.

Wouldn't that possibly provoke a limited 'Nuke' retaliation?

[–] 0 pt

Definitely, but if you are going to go that far, you'll be ready for that or will have simultaneously bombed/nuked the Chinese nukes locations. (and maybe Paki too just to be safe).

[–] 0 pt

Why bomb it when you could just screw the electronics or get a third party to be a patsy?

[–] 0 pt

Then you are admitting that this wouldn't be a good, righteous, and moral act. If you don't have the conviction that what you are doing is right and you have to skulk around like our greatest allies, don't do it, find another solution.

[–] 0 pt

Bombing a bridge and killing millions is moral? Impossible.

I was just poking holes in the logic because: an escalating tension military policy is suicidal. War has become clandestine.

I'm against civilian bombing. period. Leave the civilians out of this shit thank you very much.

They would officially have all of our semiconductor manufacturing

[–] 0 pt

Not true at all. Intel and AMD have fabs in the US, Germany, Israel, etc.

[–] 0 pt

Desktop and commercial computing, X86, are different then the risc architecture that is primarily in the automotive and small devices.

[–] 0 pt

Fabs are fabs. The tools aren't any different. The only limitation would be raw manufacturing capacity and possibly intellectual property rights.

Congratulate China on their “expansion” and argue for better trade deals in exchange for not helping Taiwan fight back.

Send a strongly worded letter stating our displeasure.

They won't Chinese leadership likes money more than their ego. They're already negotiating because they know how much money is on the line.

[–] 2 pts

I beg to differ. The Chinese leader is an incredible egotist. He banned pictures of Winnie The Pooh because people compared the Pooh to that shithead.

Money ain't shit to these people. They have more money than they could spend in generations. Power and ego is all that matters.

You can't have power without energy, and energy is still traded in dollars, and if the dollar is replaced, you cannot replace the fact that it takes energy to get energy, and petroleum is the easiest most practical, and realistic way to gain energy. You cannot have power without energy first. Power is work over time, work is a function of energy.

If China wants to starts a land and sea invasion, they have a multi billion dollar defense system that will do Trillions of dollars of damage to any invading force.

I don't think they'll have the balls to use it though.

Despite the legal status they enjoy that spells out that China has no authority over them.

Cease trade, default on Chinese held debt. Fuck the bugs.

Hand it over in exchange for geostrategic concessions and trade fairness re-balancing.
