Things to avoid: common law marriage, 2A infringement, vaccine/mask cucking, egregious policing, lots of hot springs, mormons, southern border (with few exceptions), high property taxes, lots of Gates farmland, college towns and places named after spooky things, people or places (you'll know what I mean when you spend a little more time looking). Alaska doesn't sound that interesting to me, personally. Sunlight is extremely important. Also, this isn't just advice for considering moving to Alaska.
