You define god as an omnipotent creator, I don't, creator implies a beginning and end. If everything has already happened then there's nothing to create, nothing to do.
The feeling of being alive is part of god, you are part of that. You are a reflection of the universe itself.
Again why would an omnipotent being have to do anything? It's already done before you even think about it, this universe existed long before you did, and yet here you are, without any doing on your part. You didn't set your parents up, you didn't make your daddy two pump chump in your mommy's cooter. All of that happened before you even tought you wanted to be here or needed to be here, or even had the wherewithal to question god's existence.
Why don't you just say exactly what your God is, instead of playing this bizarre game of rhetorically examining reality?
You're trying to talk to me about what God must or must not be. I'm an atheist who's just pointing out the irony of people worshipping a God who they say is great and good while children are being raped.
If you believe in a God, just explain what you believe.
Why don't you just say exactly what your God is
Because the more you talk about it, the less you understand, I already told you, it's something you feel. Thinking will only confuse you more.
I'm an atheist who's just pointing out the irony of people worshipping a God who they say is great and good while children are being raped.
What's ironic about people being evil? What does your relationship with god have to do with evil, if you are with god you cannot do evil, you can only do evil if you stray from god. God has no requirement for you to be in touch with it, you will inevitably return.
If you want to understand what I believe you have to understand this: https://www.austincc.edu/adechene/taoteching.pdf
And if you get that, then you get me.
To me, god is not some dude named jesus, god is actual reality, the one that's beyond what you're privvy to.
In what tangible way is this reality beyond what I'm privvy to?
You keep talking in vague, cryptic rhetoric. You're not conveying anything meaningful
