I saw this video and now I am in doubt, I doubt everything the media says :

And now I don't know if the drought is real or not, at least in California. So, if anyone here lives in or near California, what's really going on there?

They have low rainfall... but they can manage water so low rainfall isn't a problem. Given California politics, they have totally mismanaged their reservoirs by .

Assholes!

They also chose to build earthen dams which are incapable of handling the weight of the water in the reservoirs if they are full. Thus some of the recent dam failures or near failures.

The only thing the State of CA is good at is finding new ways to fuck up.

Sad and true. Of course American taxpayers pay for this too.

Destroying energy infrastructure and water supply for muh salmonid spawning just so redskins can sit outside fish ladders with gill nets.

Manmade drought...the Jews OWN our water.

No one should ever own water or air.

Time for God.

Went past Lake Shasta the other week, it's down to the dregs. Looks bad unless some melt or rain or something comes along.

And in other years, when you passed through there, was it as dry as that ? Or is the current drought unusual ?

Typically the lake is at least 20 feet higher in late Spring. It was a disturbing sight, frankly. But it would not be all that unusual for a single-year snowpack to be low enough to cause this. The trouble is if it lasts more than a couple of years in a row, that's when things get dicey. I'd say there was definite cause for concern, but no need for panic just yet.

I'm skeptical that there is a place called california at all.

Who cares one way or the other because FUCK THE PEOPLE OF MEXIFORNIA!!

The Land of Fruits and Nuts can FUCK OFF!

You know how our ancestors handled drought-stricken regions? They didn't live there. It is insane to build golf courses in the desert.

Mexifornia used to be a desert for the most part, until they installed PIPELINES to bring water they purchased from other states. Mexifornia NEVER had it's own water supply and was basically arid because of the Rocky Mountains.

Which is surprising, since demoniKKKrats HATE pipelines isn't it odd that they haven't shut off, protested, or made up bullshit excuses about the PIPELINES destroying the environment that bring water into their worthless state.

Golf courses reuse their water...they need about 250,000 gallons a day

California has suffered regular periodic droughts since before the time of the cave men. They have nothing at all to do with human industry.

drought - a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall, leading to a shortage of water.

They are here....

a prolonged period of abnormally low rainfall

Just because someone has water now doesn't mean the area isn't receiving low rainfall. Are you that retarded that some faggot filming his screen with his phone convinced you?

I don't live in the US, so I don't know.

You really are retarded.

Shut up, idiot.

There was a little over 7 inches of rain this year. 22-ish is normal in our area.
