Then all I can say is don’t let Hitler arguments distract you. Mao was a terrible piece of shit that destroyed thousands of years of chinese culture and tradition, yet China survived. It’s important to know and understand your history, but don’t let it blind you to the possibilities of the future.

Disregard Hitler and ask yourself this: are a people not entitled to their own land? Their own laws?

If people can not be proud of their history/culture/land, then they are simply prey waiting to be conquered.

I’d argue that Mao did kill China; he literally changed the written language in order to re-order how people thought about things and how society functioned. And whatever people around here think about Hitler, his legacy has been a Germany that’s so fucking guilty over WWII that they’ve allowed their government to systematically fuck the entire European continent into the third world dirt.

So no, in some really important ways, these countries didn’t survive this type of leadership.
