Off topic but I remember a story where they were modifying male nigger bees to kill female ones when they mated or had contact. Maybe it was the other way around but it was designed to get rid of this species of bees. I always thought some shit like that will be the end of us.

I will. Could have been mosquitos as well. I can’t remember enough about the experiment to be able to search it. I think it was using crispr or some type of gene editing.
