Who wrote the books used in education? Who owns pretty much all of the news media? Who owns Hollywood? Who owns the banks? Who pays different groups to fight over unimportant stuff? Who owns most of the porn industry? The publishing houses? Most of the politicians? The layers of bullshit are many, and they have been laid down meticulously over many, many years. It's only when one decides that the pursuit of the truth is more important than the opinions of untold masses of willful idiots who have decided to let others think for them, rather than thinking for themselves. Social media makes this sort of ignorance comfortable for the easily influenced and intellectually lazy to simply go on without questioning that which they have been spoon fed by the world around them.
