Because the right is really just big oil and the left is big tech. When you understand this it all makes sense.
Think. How much energy is it costing to run the internet? A fucking lot, and big tech pays big oil for it. Big tech doesn't like that, so they push green energy so they can have more profit.
The whole corona virus shit was a good way to run an experiment. Shutting down society cuts our energy consumption, but not big tech. Last year proved they're the reason for climate change if any.
So they're backing off, look at the price of crypto and the price of petroleum, they're edging towards each other. Big tech will stay sucking on big oil's tit, and big tech knows it.
Big pharma is dependent on both big oil and big tech, as is the weapon manufacturing sector.
Hell, our boots on the ground and fire bombing of brown people and paving over their corpses is the cost of securing our energy supply. It's the real human cost of securing energy, it's why military men tend to be conservative. You're dealing with finite resources so you want to get the most out of them.
Lefties, they see people as just energy units to be directed by their mass media hypnosis. They see abstract concepts as a source of power, some fad everyone can get behind, like BLM. That's why they tend to be lefties, collectivists, marxists. They deal with data, an abstract concept, not a finite resource like oil or human blood.
