I really like this site. It's 85% like Voat, but getting better by the day.

There is no such thing as an anonymous P.O. Box.

Every P.O. Box has to have a registered individual, including their address and proof of identification & residence.

You can have a registered agent do it for you.

For example, you can start a corporation in either New Mexico or Delaware and have your lawyer sign up for the post office box as the company's registered agent.

Not that I'm suggesting Poal or anyone do it. But that's how to do it, if you need to.

It's nothing new. In 1995 I was banned from a chatroom on AOL. I had to unplug my fucking telephone line from my fucking external modem and wait 2 hours before I could log back on. AMERICA ONLINE.

With a gag order or they knew they were being watched digitally so they shut it down to protect the users would be a good way to not fuck over people and not get arrested for alerting users. The canary can likely be used as a way to arrest anyone that activates it or doesn't. If the fed hit the site the day after the last canary reset then they can spy for around a month or how long the reset time is between last and next. The thing is so many sites are secretly compromised that even anything that scans for that can miss it with the tech they have at this time. So they might get the code that resets the canary so passwords are useless when you get the nation level hack spyware. Likely even linux is vulnerable or the kernel has something already added that slipped through the people that check it or they allowed it for some cash when broke. Nothing is unhackable that is online.

Bitcoin can be anonymous, but I also don't see how a PO box is more anonymous, It takes personal info to set one of those up, and what will people do? send a check? also not anonymous, Cash through the mail I guess is possible, but it would be easier to request a monero type donation option instead.

A blank money order is anonymous. Just put your Poal username on it and that's it.

I understand your concern, but what don't you understand about a MONEY ORDER?

You can buy one of those fucking things at your local Apu-owned convenience store. ...sure there's surveillance cameras, but the level of tracking is greatly diminished.

A post office box links directly to the owner, obviously, but the more money we send to people like these that support free speech and home brewed beer putschs ....the better.

THat is not anonymous, used one to buy some computer parts from the manufacturers website "amazon and ebay are selling used and ssd's with sticker over lowest quality made ssd's but charging same as new top quality". So you have to call the number on the outside, then they have your phone# and then they can listen to the person that sent money to the free speech site. You also if like mine are activating out of India. So how can a US bank use an india call center for banking info that is highly private scared the fuck out of me for tracing theft since India call center theft is international not like the US. So your not anonymous in any way. As for PO box or any address that should not be asked. Think of it as asking for a persons address on 4 chan so that is not happening. If you don't have a paypal or other online then ask your bank to transfer a certain amount of cash to the place listed on the instructions at bottom of page.

PO boxes are a problem for anonymity because you have to present several forms of ID to open one. That puts whoever is collecting donations for poal at risk.
