I've never raised pheasant, but I've cooked/eaten it. I mean: you're basically eating a pigeon. It's alright, but seems like no real bang for your buck. You'd have to eat two of them just to make a decent meal for yourself. Like others have mentioned, you'd be better off with chickens. If they're super easy to raise and don't require much feeding, it might be worth it. Dunno.
