After reading the Gulag and learning about the Holodomor and MKUltra, there is no evil that surprises me anymore. I do still marvel at beautiful and wonderful things.

Yes, how much my dog loves me. It’s amazing. My dog is glad to see me each and every time I come home. Always ready to play or go for a walk. Trusts me absolutely, except when I try to trim her nails, then my 90 pound American Bulldog devolves into a crying baby who thinks she’s about to be murdered. Oh well, you can’t have everything but still a marvel!
