I have had a few supernatural experiences. On two occasions I had premonitions of a relative and family friend die. One was a dream about my uncle dying. I got a call from my mother after I got home from work telling me my uncle had committed suicide. I had never dreamt of my uncle before that night. The second one involved a family friend. I was laying in bed one night trying to get my brain to settle down for sleep and I saw this strange image in my mind of a bearded face made up of sparkly but fuzzy dots. The face was growing in size as if it were coming towards me before it dispersed into the darkness. I thought it was odd that the face was familiar. "Hey, that looks like Bill D*****. That's weird." I thought. In the morning I found out Bill, our family friend, had died of a heart attack less than 100 yards from my house at precisely the time I saw his face. The movement towards me was even in the straight line direction between where I was and where he died. Fuck that was mind blowing! On a different but possibly related note, as a pre-teen kid I saw something that I have never had anyone else make comment on. Back in the summer of 1979, the evening news mentioned there was an unusual ring around the moon that night. My uncle (different uncle from above) and I went outside to see the moon ring. I remember clearly seeing a full moon surrounded by rust-colored rocks with sharply defined crystal faces. The rocks formed a complete ring about 10 times the diameter of moon. The rocks were all about the same size as the moon appeared which would make them quite large. At that age I was big into rock collecting. I remember being astounded by what I was seeing as there were well defined crystal faces on these reddish brown colored rocks of which I could not identify in my rock and geology books. My uncle was also astonished by what he saw, but sadly he does not have even the slightest recollection of the happening. I have scoured the internet for anything that could explain what I saw back in '79, but it seems that there isn't anything to be found. All the moon rings noted on the web are the usual moonbow type rings. The one I saw was definitely rocky. I have always wondered what I saw that night. I really want to know what it was.
