What was your experience?

I was a passenger in a gnarly car wreck. First off, I had the most intense deja vu right before the crash - enough so that I adjusted my seat, sat up straight, and closed my eyes; as ready as I would ever be for the impact that came next. After our nearly head-on collision, my door was crimped shut so I had to climb up on my seat and jump out of the busted window to get out. As I was jumping out, someone reached out and grabbed my hand (as you would if helping someone down a large step). I took it without a second thought. They steadied me enough that I landed on my feet despite my badly battered knees and legs. Later I learned that no one else had been there at that time (the other occupant I had to drag out of the car as he had a broken hip). Who or what held my hand? I like to think some sort of guardian.

I was most definitely not tripping, this shit all happened in my early teen years, waaay before I ever tried psychedelics for the first time. No alcohol or drugs of any kind altering my state of mind.

Are you saying psychedelics amplify the effect here? What exactly were you taking? Now that you mention it I don’t have nightmares anymore, haven’t for years. One day I got sick of them and told whatever it was scaring me to fuck itself, and now I control the “bad dreams”. Last time it was an evil witch lady trying to eat my soul and I reached out and popped her head like a water balloon. Good times. I figure this will transfer to the paralysis visions.
