666 happens 3 times in the bible I believe, twice in reference to Solomon's wealth and once in revelations. Revelations also lists all of Solomon's goods as the goods adorning the whore of babylon.
The one in revelations doesn't actually say "666". It's really an interpretation of a numerological approach to a name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
It says 666 just in words.
A lot of people focus on gematria here, but given that this number is listed twice earlier in relation to Solomon and the goods it lists as him trading also adorning the whore... I'd say it has to do with Solomon personally.

I believe you're reading that from English bibles (the king james version was created by a 33rd degree freemason - Francis Bacon - specifically to cater to the occult). I don't believe the original bible said that. I'll check.
It is actually just three greek letters chi xi sigma. When you sound it out is is cheezus.
