I remember seeing recently a couple of posts asking about what to do about cavities, if there were any alternatives to going to the dentist. Apparently there are. Someone named Weston Price developed a diet that he claims can remineralize teeth, curing cavities.

I think your dentist is right about leaving tooth paste on. I always did this unintentionally just because I was lazy. I've had very few cavities. But with my sweet tooth, by any other standards my teeth should have fallen out by now.
