Dead people. I listen to mostly dead people. The longer they've been dead, the better their music is.
I like BOTH kinds,Country & Western.
Howdy, Hank.
I also heard this in the 'Blues Brothers' movie.
Their Swedish-language version songs are even better.
80s, and synthwave. Sometimes "modern rock" (90s+).
Chill-Hop, Vaporwave (Unironically)
Video game soundtracks, my nigga.
But if you want a band, then listen to some
They’re progressive rock, like Rush and Jethro Tull.
I recommend pelican and Russian circles. Instrumental post rock/metal.
8bit music is my jam
If you haven't given it a listen yet, I enjoy In Flames' 8-bit (arcade) version of their 2019 "I, The Mask" album as well as the normal album.

You probably need a lot more Tool in your life
Love me some Tool but I heard Maynard went off the deep end on how COVID has impacted his health. I haven't bothered to dig into it because I sorta hoped after all of the "Don't be an idiot."-themed lyrics he would have called this nonsense out. For now I'm just going with the idea that maybe he is trolling people as is so often the case.
I remember him on Rogan talking about it, he didn't really do off the deep end from what I remember but he was getting a bit ridiculous talking about how his hands cramped up afterwards because of it. I read a couple of other stories, where the media did a good job of making it sound like he was scolding people to believe it but never actually saw it in anything he said so I don't know.. Anyway ya their music is still better than everything so I'll take what I can get :)
