Mold adds flavor. Once had a batch of parmesan go moldy but before ditching decided to sample. I love strongly flavored cheese and this was just heaven.
What does it taste like to you? I can't stand the taste. I don't think i can describe it but it's exactly what i would think moldy trash would taste like. I also can't drink wine because it tastes like rotten fruit to me, like laying on the compost pile with flies on it rotten, so i know my tastes are off.
For me it was like eating a really strong blue cheese which i love. I have a hard time finding cheese with strong enough taste to suit my liking most is like eating plastic.
Put it in a zip lock bag in strips and attach a tampon to the baggie with gorilla glue. Storing the gorgonzola up your ass preserves it for roughly a day longer.
