I work for a large corporation in Canada and they are trying to get me to do a sleep study. Based on neck size body mass and that I'm male. Is there any way I can fight this?

Yeah I don't want him falling asleep while he's driving an 80k lb vehicle and killing people. You can't fight it OP. Get in better shape.

Sad day when coworkers are too dumb to realize they're being oppressors. Not joking. A sleep study is not in your job description so decline on those grounds and if they push the issue tell them to call your lawyer. Doesn't matter if you have one or not, they'll back off or get sued.

Stop eating so damn much.

seriously. Lose the damn weight.

Stop eating any carbs including sugar, fruit, bread, rice, potatoes beans etc.

Eat only ckicken breast meat or tuna for a month and watch those pounds drop away without any exercise at all.

Of it isn't either light tuna in water or skinless chicken breast or broccoli don't eat it. No fruit juice. No sugar sodas. Diet sodas or water only. No sugar filled sauces like barbeque sauce. Only some lemon juice and spices are ok.

Watch yourself regain your youth as the pounds and pains and tired feelings melt away

Don't be a fat fuck.

Yeah. They are. If you drop the extra pounds by not drinking sugar.

The question I have is, why?

Why do they want you to do it and why dont you want to?

Believe me, I am the first to tell others to mind their own shit but if they're offering to pay for it and you get the ability for a better night's rest why not?

putting myself in your shoes im flipping between being pissed off because my employer thinks my medical issues are their business but also thinking yeah actually i probably do need to do one anyway and now someone else is gonna pay for it. question is if you need treatment from it are they going to pay for it and does this mean they are keeping their own employee medical records which id think would be illegal in most circumstances.

if someone suspected drug or alcohol abuse different matter but a sleep study is a weird one. you been falling asleep at your desk or something?

I've heard a lot of people are suffering from sleep apnea today. I've been told I snore and a sleep study would help me out. It might help you as well so I would go for it.

Sleep apnea is a huge money maker for doctors and equipment manufacturers. All those cpap machines are paid for by the government every month.

The reason people have this problem so much now is everyone eats far too much and is fat. When your neck is fat you can't breath well at night. Duh.

"No, I'm not interested in that and I won't be doing it.

Alternatively, if you don't have the balls to just say nay, identify as female for the moment.

If you do have sleep apnea, your blood oxygen saturation will go low while you sleep. This can damage your organs and especially your heart. This leads to heart failure, that leads to death.

I have heart failure. I wish I had been able to get a sleep study years ago, but the Dallas Pig Department prevented me from getting one through their criminal misconduct.

Fuck the Pigs!

Get a sleep study now! Most involve you wearing a device like this while you sleep. https://www.bing.com/search?q=contec+cms50f

Not a big deal.

Ok Canuck, do this; tell them you want a sleep study with the CEO’s wife. Other than that, you could fuck off to sunny side trailer park, listen to some Brian Adams, jackoff to the queen, suck off niel young, and then kill yourself.

Oh for the days when you just did your job without nosy bosses interfering in your private life.
