I moved to the country on five acres. Still have my house in the hood, which I’m about to list and make a bunch of money on. I know what I’m doing. Can’t fight the liberal machine that ruined my hometown with niggers. Don’t care anymore. They can have it. I lived and worked there for 43 years. I did all I could do. Payed my taxes, made the neighborhood great by buying and flipping houses for the better. Had to go.
My trajectory sounds very similar, minus owning any anchor property. Left that joint and life in the Big Shitty back in ‘05, and I love my new digs so much, I will never leave. Almost had a divorce over that issue, not really, but it was heading that way. I was able to provide some of what my wife needed to find more happiness where we live now, and now she sounds like me about never leaving. The best thing WE ever did, and it’s still getting better.
