i planted blackberry bushes this year
Me to give them two years to get fruit. Those plants are jealous and will die unless you're a squirrel or a bird. Keep water and fertilizer on it. You'll snack for months
mine actually have berries all over it already! i'm really excited i think i'll have enough to do a pie. I have been watering repeatedly, i hope they grow bigger next year and take over the whole area. My dad had some land when i was a kid and he had blackberries all over it but he paid some guy to clear the land and they took the grass AND the berry bushes it was terrible i was sad and pissed. but at least i have my two bushes now
You have your two feed them and water them. A healthy plant can't be eaten by anything weaker than itself. Feed it and water it and the fruit is yours alone. A healthy body or a healthy plant can't be brought down. Nature. It is badass.
