Why am I being forced to wait a few seconds after typing a comment before I can post it? Feels like I'm being treated like a child with this "calm down" crap.

I'm a fast thinker and typist and shouldn't be punished for it. It's stupid and insulting.

The algorithm could definitely become sophisticated enough to handle OPs comment frequency. Exponential back off or something scaled based on user levels would probably work.
