The far-left and the far-right have always been on the Palestinians' side. The far-left is pulling the media narrative a lot more than 6 years ago when the Dems were mostly hawkish neo-liberals and there is no way of spinning that Israelis are more oppressed than Palestinians.

Maybe they want the first female president to "solve" the conflict, showing that women are better leader than men, but that's a stretch.
