We use ours 3-4 times a week. It's not indispensable but I'm glad we got it. I use it for bacon, splatters are a thing of the past. My wife make fries and chicken in it and they're a big hit. We've done steak and it was fine. Be careful when selecting one; Amazon reviews are so gamed that they're useless. We had trouble getting a brand where the coating didn't flake off the basket in short order. But then Costco had the Ninja brand on sale and we ended up getting 3: one for home, one for the RV, and one for a gift.
