Looking for a decent pistol to buy for just overall use. I do go camping alone and want more safety.

Only NW Oregon is that way. I live in the opposite corner and it's very much God and Guns country. There are even shirts/stickers that say things like "OreGunian" and "Don't Portland My Oregon."

Also, OR only became a blue state after they implemented universal mail in voting.
