Japan was firebomed into the stone age and THEN had their two major cities nuked so hard their children’s children are still feeling the effects multiple generations later. Not to mention the enormous financial debt they incurred after losing WWII. And it took them just 3.5 decades to build their society back up to be the number 2 economy in the entire world by the 1980’s. Contrast that with black communities living for 100 years+ in the freest most opportunity-rich country in the entire world and look what they’ve done.
