Make sure all children know what to do if they are approached. They should use their phones to record the interaction, and share it with an adult. Best case scenario they would call 911 immediatley, but sharing with an adult they trust is the ultimate goal. If a child or special needs adult tells you something is going on, take it seriously, get social services involved.
We should also boycott, and advise others to boycott, businesses using questionable employment. I have encountered questionable labor in nail salons, jewish groceries, and recently lyft drivers. If the person helping you refuses to talk to you, cannot answer simple questions, isn't familiar with the neighborhood, you should be suspicious. Personally, I will leave yelp/google reviews telling others of the strange encounter I had. I'm sure intelligent people can put two and two together without directly saying "human trafficking labor used here".
