Try upping your iodine in your diet (lots of leafy greens) along with castor oil (they have them in pills). Work on getting your insulin levels down through a good diet.
Try some REAL apple cider vinegar, soak a cotton ball with it and use a band-aid to keep it in place. Give your body the tools it needs to do its damn job.
This is the right way to get rid of it. Also do a castor oil pack directly on it. Every morning put a drop of lugol's iodine on it as well. Gone in no time.

If it is a cyst there is nothing to be done unless you cut it out. There will be nothing that reduces the lipoma without damaging the skin above.
I've used anti-viral cold sore cream, Abreva, to remove a couple of viral warts quite successfully. Killed 'em dead as hell, and quickly too, like just a few days. They haven't returned.

Some warts are caused by viruses, yes, and this stuff works on some viruses, designed to stop herpes simplex 1 virus (aka cold sores), it also can kill viral warts. It killed mine almost immediately. Very impressive results. The warts have not returned. Nothing else I tried ever worked on them.
It's sold in drug stores on the shelf, but 2 grams is almost $24. Does a really great job on cold sores too. You just put a thin film on, so even the 2 grams lasts a while. Get the tube and not the pump - the pump is stupid.

Cool. I'm going to buy it online. CASTOR Oil, when I was a kid, placed castor oil on wart on my knee and my arm, every morning and every night. And that got rid of them. Damn compound W just seems to burn everything, and leaves a huge white crust. The wart still lives underneath compound W. Anyhow, thanks for info, Ima buy it and try it.
Granddad worked in machine shop, had wart on his ankle/feet. He explained wart is a virus, castor oil is oil, starves the wart/ VIRUS of air it needs to survive.

You need to do a biopsy and get a pathology report to rule out the differential diagnosis. Even medical imaging (ultrasound, ct scan, MRI) is often inconclusive with regards to determining whether the tumor is benign or malignant. Benign lipomas and liposarcomas often present very similarly.
Hit it with a book to break it up.
If it's a wart: Why not just do it the right way with 17% or more concentration of Salicylic acid applied topically. It will typically painlessly fall off after a few days.

No its below the skin, (first off let me say this is not a serious condition at all what soever, its basically cosmetic)
It like a glob of fat. It isnt a busted blood vessel. It doesnt hurt.
A lipoma and a wart could both be caused by a virus for all I know. Lipoma-sarcoma is a serious cancerous condition but the rareity of that is high.
I suspect it will clear itself, I can watch diet(excess of breakfast burritos???), and be fine.
There is a high incidence in middle aged.people which would lead me to beleive its virus caused and apart of a normal life of viral-assault we undergo.
