Keep plugging away. Funny, life has a way of shooting you down the right path, assuming you wanna work for it. I started as a poor country boy in PA, never expecting to be anything more than a factory worker and moving up from there. A few lucky breaks and good choices and I ended up somewhere I would've never guessed. More than anything, you get what you put into it in the long run.
I believe there is a good element of hard work in success and a bit of luck too, I for sure never saw myself getting where I am today yet here I am.
It's mostly in the attitude, I think ... and luck, like you said ... but in many ways, I also think we make our own luck when it comes to long term things.
yeah I could see that, life presents you with opportunities based on what you already chose to do, so if you hadn't done the work already you wouldn't have the chance.
Kind of goes along with another one I've always believed, its easier to find a job if you have a job.
