The afterlife is unfalsifiable, either there is one or there isn't and it doesn't matter. And I believe it ties closely to how much someone believes there is more to our existence than we can sense. With that said I've witnessed a true physics defying miracle save a baby boys life, to me that was proof of a higher power of some sort.
