My taskbar (toolbar?) at any rate the gizmo that allows the "Edit" function, "copy, paste, delete, etc. has disappeared from the top of the page. How do I restore it?

It's happened before but I can't remember what the rather simple steps were to restore it. Yes, it's embarrassing to be such a computer klutz but I would appreciate some help.

Your id-10-t driver is probably glitching out.

Damn! The bar has disappeared again and ctrl + F11 doesn't restore it now. What the hell?

Try alt + F4.

That works the same as ctrl + F-10 but it disappears after every use. Thanks for the tip, it's a work around.

It can depend a bit by browser, but if your menu bar is hidden, you can usually access it with an alt code for one of the menus. Try Alt+F which is a pretty safe bet because there's almost always a menu labeled 'File.' When the menu comes up, the little underlined letters in each menu title correspond to the letter to use with Alt to bring it up.

From there you should be able to browse around through the menus, like maybe there's one called view or something, and then a toolbars option, which would let you always show it instead of hiding it. But it varies by browser so I can't say for sure.

Also one of the Function keys at the top probably toggles it as well but I don't know which one.

F11? Idk what your actually talking about, tbh.

At the top left section of the computer page, there is a line of text saying File....some other shit and "Edit" Clicking on "Edit" will drop a menu of choices such as "copy", "paste", "delete", etc. That has disappeared and I can't remember the steps necessary to restore it. Does that clear things up?

Are you on a mac?
