Please keep doing it because I can't afford it and I love those shows too.

But you should really invest $10 in learning how to cook bread so you can eat for a lifetime.

You’re going the Roosh V route. I can respect that. Just don’t forget your body needs protein and fat. Get some chickens or rabbits.

Get quail and a sourdough start

Peasants live off bread. Go hunt. There isn't an arrow shortage.

Buy bulk beans, rice, Powdered milk, butter, and other items and store them in 5 gallon buckets with "Gamma Seal" lids. If you know how to cook, you won't starve. Kill a deer, make jerky, store it the same way. It can be reconstituted and added to your beans or rice. Eggs can be pickled uncooked and whole by using pickling lime. no need for refrigeration. Ever heard of salt pork? yep. just like a ham, you can remove the moisture and keep the flies off, it will last. There is absolutely no reason to buy those premade ready to scarf meals. Currently, I have 1 bucket of flour, 1 bucket of coffee, 1 bucket of salt, 1 bucket of rice, 1 bucket of sugar and one bucket of beans. Actually I have another 25lbs of salt not in bucket, and extra beans. I'm going to do a bucket of mashed tater flakes, and a bucket of dried fruit soon. Stock up on fishing gear, hunting gear, camping gear. water purification, and My favorite, a pot still. yep, a pot still of some sort. You can distill clean water, or make moonshine. Sorry for the book.

I made a loaf of bread a couple of weeks ago. It was perfect. By that I mean there has never been a better loaf of bread baked on either side of the Atlantic than the one I made in my own oven. It took me over three hours! With the mixing and the kneeding and the letting it rise for the first time, then pounding the dough and letting it rise a second time before putting it into the oven to bake, and than an hour to let it cool down before I could cut and eat it. I'll probably never do it again because I own a bread machine, which makes OK loaves of bread -- but my one loaf made completely with my hands was perfect, and I do mean perfect.

You say you'll never do it again but it's just going to sit there, in the back of your mind.

I began baking bread when Wonder Bread went tits up. You only get better when you keep doing it. Still baking bread ten or so years later.
