She complains about not getting stuff done and not getting enough sleep yet she spends an hour sometimes putting her kid to sleep. Sits in there with him if she leaves he cri3s and cries. If she just puts him in the room he cries and cries and will come find her. No fucking way I would do this with my kid. I would literaly lock them in there room. It is making her quality of life terrible as she spends tons of time dealing with and I'd say spoiling a 3.5 year old. Maybe it's me being a dude and this is normal? It doesn't seem normal to me. And I know through out history 99.9999 percent of human history this would not have been normal. Seems like a recipe for problems for the child. Single mom of course dad cheated and left for the mistress

Sometimes some kids have anxiety about sleep, and they eventually grow out of it. I have a lot of children and some are just like that. And yes, it's super frustrating. She should try a bedtime routine even if it's just a half hour. Routines help children know what's coming at what time.

She has a routine... problem is it involves her staying with him and if she leaves he starts crying. That's That's routine

My parenrs warned her not to let him as a baby fall asleep in her lap upright or he would have hard time sleeping on his own. Seems to have come true worse then she could have imagined. Guess she just has to deal with it

never heard of that....I put my kids down in their crib when they fell asleep and didn't have much trouble. That warm titty milk knocks them right out.

Oh boy. That's going to be a hard habit to break without a few tears.
