So out of curiosity, how do we encourage people to take jobs that are open, but not wanted due to the low pay? There's 3 openings in my store, as people are leaving, what for? Gibs. It's much less money, but they feel their hours aren't worth the minimum wage.
I've had a few CVs and most people only hand them in to keep getting their benefits and then don't show up. I'm not allowed to increase the pay, but nobody wants it. Thank god my staff are happy with me and will take the overtime, but I'm giving them a bonus out of pocket. (20 each so not a lot).
Limiting and lowering unemployment.
You stop all welfare, all unemployment, all government healthcare. When the lazy start getting hungry, they'll be less lazy.
Or get very very violent because they have nothing left to lose and of course it's likely to be political suicide for them.
