I'd say it's probably a combination of three. But your question reminded me of an old post on Reddit. Back when you could find based stuff on Reddit. This comes after some retard asks, "lol what are white people anyway? we're all the same right??"

You know, whites. Those pale types? European origins? Ring any bells? The people that everyone refers to when they say, "White people." They do not do this for any other racial group when it comes to their interests and livelihood. This, "HOLD ON NOW WHITEY, What do you mean by 'white' there?" complex only occurs for white people. It's so insidious that even white people (through decades of societal conditioning) are willing to pin it against themselves before anyone else has a chance to. They'll sabotage their own interests to look nice and tolerant. No other race does that. Not one.
It's a white people problem. We know what White refers to. The people who hate us know what white is. The Founding Fathers of the United States knew what 'White' was when they wrote naturalization laws explicitly forbidding anyone but whites of good moral character to become citizens in their budding nation. Yes. That means those Irish/Italian people were considered white.
When someone tries to level this out and say, "There's no such thing as x people or y people, we’re all just..." Just remember they'd never do this for any other race. If it's a white person doing it, ridicule and laugh at them on behalf of the other races that wouldn't tolerate such hideous and destructive self-loathing. No other race would take them seriously and coincidentally no other race has agreed to be reduced to a hated minority in their own countries. Among the countless other grievances that white people let slide because they're willing to see themselves go extinct for the sake of what they're told is correct.

- Native European
- Jewish.

That's why there's two types of white. There is White and then there is (((white))), and I find this helps in knowing how to discuss topics.

For example, they choose to capitalize Black because of Blacks' shared lived experience. However, they abstain capitalization for whites because there is no shared white culture but also they aim to minimize or dismantle Whiteness - so it seems they acknowledge some kind of shared culture between whites.

Good points. Kinda crazy. No white culture do they mean every fucking thing they see and do in America with a few exceptions where some other race like a parasite lived off the foundations of culture and civilization whites built and was manipulated and distorted by the other races.
