If Broach a topic they don't like they respond, "Never discuss religion and politics" but then they constantly bring up religion and politics and when I debunk their assertions with facts they respond with, "That's your opinion" or "We'll have to agree to disagree." All my siblings are apolitical normies, we're not american so politics aren't quite as rabid here.

From what I heard my father was a very militant working class communist though, but he died when I was very young so I never got the chance to relentlessly destroy his beliefs. Everybody tells me I got my political activism from him.

I'm right there with you. Lost my faggot commie sister recently. She'll only see me if I exclude the rest of the family from our meet ups. No thank you good riddance. My mother is about to disown me for not getting the jab. She had an abortion when I was a toddler and told me about it when I was about 17. Took a sibling away from me. I forgave her and still love her. She expected me to respect her "muh body muh choice" but won't do the same for me.

I've been saying this for a while now. This and other far right wing sites are really where the normies are. These are the wholesome groups of people with reasonable values expressed through freedom of speech and association.

I admire your strength. Don't judge them too harshly, they don't know. Sometimes just biting the lip and bearing is required, other times a bit of space.

Family first, unless it is a form of deviance or pure evil, there is little that should stand between family in my view.

Good point, very poor approach. If someone said that to you would it make you want to look into it further or just avoid that person because they are an asshole? You shouldn't give them the excuse to ignore you because you are an asshole.

The better thing to say would be "there is a lot the mainstream media won't inform you about, you have to look outside of it to get the whole truth".

Not a sibling but a good friend from school. He was nerdy and weak and I took him under my wing, protected him from bullies, etc. He was slowly becoming mini me until he went to college, now he’s a raging commie who I constantly argue with. I’ve destroyed him in every single argument, and every time he will either admit I’m right or tell me he’ll look more into it. ALWAYS comes back saying either I never beat him, that he in fact beat me in the argument, or that he found “new information” proving me wrong that he then refuses to provide. Once got him to admit that the millions killed by Stalin were “justified” as a means to an end. (Now he outright claims no one died)

I once asked him how he knows the Holodomor is fake. His sources? A book written by Stalin himself and “evidence” provided by the Soviet government. I’ve given up on him, I miss my friend.

Sounds like he has a circle of friends just like him at uni. Weak and nerdy and leftist, because they lack self-esteem. It's no surprise he stays the way he always has been. I used to be weak and nerdy and with low self-esteem as a kid, but I too had some good influences, which taught me to man the fuck up, a slow and painful process. Fortunately I have always placed a great importance on researching my own facts, which helped.

He does actually. I’ve seen a video of them hanging out, they’re all ugly betas. They ganged up and knocked their only non-commie friend out (kicked him in the fucking head when he was down) for daring to disagree with them on some commie shit.

My sister actually tried to argue in a rational sense that gender is a spectrum. I honestly was shocked.

The problem is they move to goal posts. At one moment gender refers only to the feminine-masculine spectrum. Then the next minute it refers to male and female. When you make arguments about gender being binary they run to the first definition and say none of that matter because they are only talking about feminine-masculine behavior and preference. Then when they want to push for degeneracy like sex change hormones for minors they switch the definition and claim that your behavioral profile defines your sex.

Focus in on this goal post shifting and don't let her do it.
