Khat. They like to chew khat, and sugar cane. Lots of toothless pakis due to rotted teeth from a lifetime of sugar cane chewing.

I was in Kenya in 1989, khat was the big thing there. Filthy niggers sitting around chewing bitter weeds, gettin all hype n sheeeit, also smoking bhang (weed) and drinking homemade booze. I met many locals that wished the British would return, lol...the country was an utter shithole, with beautiful scenery.
