I'm struggling to remember more examples of this tactic beyond 9/11 and covid.

Eg. - Problem: oh no, two airplanes pulverised three buildings in NY. - Reaction: Plx give revenge and security. - Solution: Invade Afghanistan, seize control of world's largest opium supply.

Any other prominent examples?

My moto is "If they want theater, they get theater!" So I have been stripping down to my boxershorts at airport metal detectors for 10 years now. Then if they say anything I just drop my boxers and show the world my babymaker. Got into a lot of trouble over the years but they never managed to keep me of a flight.
