How can you prove that without using arguments from authority? Don't cross the road, you will surely die. Don't drink the bleach, you will surely die. Which is a truer statement?
Not trying to prove anything except that your understanding of traditional Christian theology is horribly flawed and likely stems from Protestantism. Read the book or don't.
Sure. But first or second. Which statement is most true?
Impossible to tell given the data. Is the road a country road with no traffic, or Calcutta during rush hour? Is the bleach straight, or heavily diluted?
Your previous "gotcha" statement is equally as stunted. If an immortal being suddenly encounters a situation which renders him mortal, what does it matter if his death occurs in 1,000 years or immediately? Either way he still dies.
To further delve into the Protestant cum atheist theology, God permitted the first people to procreate and thus allowed them to live for a span after they doomed themselves in order to show His greatness to their offspring at a later date and to give those who decide to follow His Law a chance to be a part of the new heavens and new earth.
