Oh yeah, i remember watching this a long while back (before i knew who herzog was). I actually enjoyed it for the awesome cinematography of the wilderness for someone using fairly decent equipment rather than a 240p potato. The inevitable ubiquitous tragedy of his demise added in a nice touch to the overall theme ....
