I tried KDE manjaro (Arch for noobs?) but had problems with it (os would not wake up from sleep and other minor issues) so after I broke it (tried to remove bluethooth and fix the sleep issue), I switched to Kubuntu and I am very happy but what works for me might not work for you or OP. Op, if you are reading this, Kubuntu has a clipboard manager by default and it's as easy as 1 click on the tray system bar.
