I'm not sure he can see the clipboard content by default on arch unless it's KDE manjaro maybe? I did not imply that arch would cause his problems.
Also, maybe you can contribute something constructive and try to help OP?
Arch is such a difficult distro, it definitely requires pretty deep cli knowledge to get it to work right (or used to anyway), it would be strange if he missed that detail but who knows. I'm mint/cinnamon cuz I'm lazy. If you don't mind me asking what flavor do roll with?
I tried KDE manjaro (Arch for noobs?) but had problems with it (os would not wake up from sleep and other minor issues) so after I broke it (tried to remove bluethooth and fix the sleep issue), I switched to Kubuntu and I am very happy but what works for me might not work for you or OP. Op, if you are reading this, Kubuntu has a clipboard manager by default and it's as easy as 1 click on the tray system bar.

He's probably on mobile. My mobile is pinephone so it's linux, would have no clue how to help him.
