Maybe, I'm too skeptical but I really don't think any states would've been able to pass constitutional carry without "their" blessing.

What are the potential negatives for gun rights? Was other language included? Are they counting on more mj legalization to conflict with carrying people to label them as traffickers? Attempt to remove states permitting process so that when they stage some mass shooting they try to implement a highly restrictive federal permit??

I feel like something is being overlooked.

They're nowhere near as powerful as they let on. Hell, they had to just clumsily rig an election and the only reason they got away with it is that the media and social media companies put out a coordinated disinformation campaign. Aside from control over the media they don't have much.
