Human Resources (Human Remains) wants to track what they call non-Hispanic whites. Most HR systems don't include Hispanics in the "white" category for diversity / inclusion reporting. Hispanics are only counted as white when they commit crimes.
Edit: Spelling
damn
Because Hispanic isn’t a race. Hispanic people can be white or black or brown, so it’s broken down into “what race are you,” and “are you a Hispanic version of that race”
Hispanics can be Asian as in the Philippines:
THE TWENTY MOST COMMON FILIPINO SURNAMES 1. Santos 2. Reyes 3. Cruz 4. Bautista 5. Ocampo 6. García 7. Mendoza 8. Torres 9. Tomás 10. Andrada 11. Castillo 12. Flores 13. Villanueva 14. Ramos 15. Castro 16. Rivera 17. Aquino 18. Navarro 19. Salazar 20. Mercado All Hispanic
Because Hispanic isn’t a race.
