Excellent work. You'll have noticed the people more likely to be in crypto are the like of us. Conspiracy theorists. While the sheep sleep and panic buy toilet paper you and I were buying crypto at firesale prices.
I like pointing that out to the covid pushing retards in my life.
You were buying toilet paper while I was positioning myself for financial freedom. But somehow I'm the idiot.
Best lesson I have ever learned is to do the opposite of what the MSM narrative is trying to get you to do. It's the shortcut to prosperity. Do opposite.
Right? That's why I laugh when people tall about bitcoin. I try to explain to them why bitcoin is terrible but the media uses bitcoin like Google so people just think oh it must be good.
Bitcoin was gen 1. The model t of crypto. Amazing and changed the world, but we don't fuckin drive model ts.
Then came ethereum. Gen 2. "Hey what if we took all this computing power and DID something with it!" Holy shit crypto with a purpose! But it is expensive and slow and unscalable.
It's going to be the gen 3 and gen 4 chains that will truly gain mass adoption and wealth. Xrp xlm polkadot and several that won't have names for a couple years. These master chains will run the infrastructure for the world.
I thought the very same thing for a long time but then had my mind changed.
I was missing a obvious reason why bitcoin is still king. I'll see if I can find you the video but essentially it is a way of sending money to the future while protecting it's purchasing power.
Think of it this way. Let's say you have 1000 dollars and you hide it under your mattress for 50 years. You've essentially sent $1000 to the future. But, what is the purchasing power of that $1000 by then. A pack of milk duds or something if you're lucky.
Now imagine putting that same $1000 into bitcoin. An asset that can't be devalued. Bitcoins no1 strength is that it allows you to send money to the future without losing your bollox.
But that's lots of crypto with all kinds of additional benefits beyond what bitcoin offers what makes bitcoin special?
