You are dealing with large real-world numbers, and trying to approximate real-world outcomes via enormously smaller real-world objects, then wondering why the results don't match.
There are infinite fucking numbers. You can come up with any 'match' you like using them. That's why they spun the wheel until they hit the 'match' at 400x larger sun than moon, at 400x distance to counter reality's 1:1 size sun and moon at equal altitude.
